Ingredients
Garlic Bread:
Hot Honey:
Method
- Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil and wrap in foil. Roast at 180°C for 35-40 minutes, or until soft and golden. Allow to cool slightly.
- Squeeze the roasted garlic into a bowl and mash until smooth. Add the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, oregano, chilli flakes, pepper and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Slice the bread in half lengthways and spread generously with the garlic butter.
- Bake at 200°C for 8-10 minutes, until the butter is melted and the bread is starting to crisp.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan. Bake for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden. Grill for 1-2 minutes for extra crispy edges.
- Meanwhile, add the honey, hot sauce, chilli flakes, lemon juice and salt to a small saucepan. Warm over low heat for 1-2 minutes, until combined.
- Drizzle the hot honey over the cheesy garlic bread and finish with fresh parsley and extra chilli flakes. Slice and serve warm.
