Rice Crispy Easter Eggs

A cute Easter treat for the kids. Not only delicious and easy to make, but a fun activity for them too!

Ingredients

10 Makes*
4 cups crispy rice cereal
300 g Marshmallows
60 g Butter
*Serving size calculator is approximate, feel free to adjust by adding a pinch here and there as needed

Method

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and cook, stirring until combined and the mixture is melted and smooth.
  2. Take the pan off the heat, add the rice cereal and mix well until all the rice crisps are coated.
  3. Spread mixture onto an oiled baking sheet pan and press down to form an even layer.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly before using egg cookie cutters to cut them into shape.
  5. Decorate with coloured icing sugar or sprinkles of your choice.

Top Tips

Oil your egg cookie cutters to prevent the rice crispy mix from sticking to it.
