Halloween Rocky Road

400g milk chocolate (broken into squares)
2 cups Rice Bubbles
200g mini marshmallows
3 Snickers Bars, chopped


  1. Line a 20 x 20cm tray with baking paper.
  2. In a large ceramic bowl, place the chocolate (if a block, break into squares).
  3. Microwave on medium in 30-second increments, stirring after each, or until nice and runny.
  4. If it’s very lumpy, add ½ tsp canola oil.
  5. Add remaining ingredients and stir to coat.
  6. Scrape into prepared tray.
  7. Add your favourite treats on top. We used candy eyes, snakes and M&Ms.
  8. Refrigerate until chocolate has set, at least 30 minutes
  9. Cut into squares to serve.


OPTIONAL: For added crunch, add 1/2 cup toasted peanuts.

    We did enjoy making this recipe. We have a huge box of Rice Bubbles so wanted to use them. Still need to make more. We made double this recipe. And we shared. It is school holidays. So lots of friends to share it with. Another day we made Chocolate Crackles. And another day we tried a different recipe with Honey. Then with Marshmallows. But we still have some Rice Bubbles left. Grandma said tomorrow we can make some Rice Bubble Biscuits. These might be good to take home ready for School Lunch boxes next week. But only if we do not eat them all before. Maybe we should do double this recipe as well. Thanks for the ideas.

    I made this recipe also added 1/4 cup toasted coconut and only 100gms pink and white mini marshmallows Delicious!
