Savoury French Toast

Difficulty : Easy  Prep Time : 10 mins  Cooking Time: 10 mins  Servings: 2



  • 125g cherry truss tomatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp a2 MilkTM
  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 small avocado sliced
  • Fresh basil
  • 4 rashers of bacon, cooked
  • Feta cheese to top


  1. Preheat oven to 80°C/160°C fan forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place tomatoes on the prepared tray and roast for 10 mins or until slightly wilted.
  2. Whisk together the eggs and a2 MilkTM in a large shallow bowl.
  3. Lightly spray a large non-stick frying pan with oil and heat over medium heat. Dip 2 bread slices, 1 at a time, in egg mixture until well soaked. Cook for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown and egg is set. Repeat with remaining bread and egg mixture.
  4. Serve with cooked, crispy bacon, tomatoes, avocado, feta cheese and basil.

Creamy Herb Chicken

Difficulty : Easy  Prep Time : 10 mins  Cooking Time: 30 mins  Servings: 5



For the Chicken

  • 5 chicken thighs on the bone
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp fresh chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic (or 4 cloves)
  • 1 tsp fresh chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ dried rosemary
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup a2 MilkTM
  • 1 tsp corn starch mixed with 1tbsp water, until smooth
  • Diced spring onion to garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste


    1. Coat chicken thighs in diced onion, garlic and herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
    2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until opaque and no longer pink inside (about 5 mins on each side, depending on thickness). Transfer to a tray and put aside.
    3. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees and cook chicken for a further 20 mins, then set aside.
    4. To the same pan or skillet, heat another 2 teaspoons of olive oil and sauté garlic with parsley, thyme and rosemary for about 1 min or until fragrant.
    5. Stir in a2 MilkTM: season with salt and pepper to taste.
    6. Bring to a boil and add the corn starch mixture to the centre of the pan, quickly stirring, until sauce has thickened slightly. Reduce heat and simmer gentle for a further minute to allow the sauce to thicken more.
    7. Return chicken to skillet. Sprinkle with spring onions and extra herbs if desired. Serve immediately.

Spiced Rice Pudding

Difficulty : Easy  Prep Time : 45 mins  Cooking Time: 4 hours  Servings: 6



  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1L a2 MilkTM + 100mL
  • 200g jasmine rice
  • 1 orange, finely zested
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • A grating of nutmeg
  • Orange segments, honey and sultanas to serve


  1. Butter the slow cooker all over the base and halfway up the sides. Heat the milk to a simmer. Mix the pudding rice and the milk and pour into the slow cooker. Add the orange zest and spices.
  2. Cook for 4 hours on low and stir once or twice if you can. If after 3 hours the rice pudding is beginning to stick to the base of the slow cooker, add a splash of water. The rice will be tender when cooked. Add 100ml milk to loosen the pudding if necessary.
  3. Serve topped with orange segments, honey and sultanas.

Broccoli, Pea & Herb Frittata

Difficulty : Easy  Prep Time : 15 mins  Cooking Time: 40 mins  Servings: 6



  • 1 broccoli head, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 eggs
  • ½ cup a2 MilkTM
  • ¼ cup tarragon leaves, finely chopped
  • ½ cup parsley leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 150g goat’s cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • Sea salt & black pepper
  • Micro herbs to serve


  1. Pre-heat oven to 220°C. Place the broccoli and oil in a 15cm x 25cm lightly oiled baking dish and toss to coat. Cook for 5 mins.
  2. While the broccoli is cooking, place the eggs, milk, tarragon, parsley, mustard, half the goat’s cheese, salt and pepper into a bowl and whisk to combine. Add the peas and stir to combine.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and top with extra tarragon sprigs.
  4. Cook for 35-40 mins or until frittata is set.
  5. Top with remaining goat’s cheese, micro herbs and sprinkle with pepper to serve.

Cheesy Beef and Basil Lasagne

Prep Time : 30 mins  Cooking Time: 30 mins  Servings: 6



  • 200g CHEER 1kg Tasty Block grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small red capsicum, chopped (or ½ large)
  • 500g beef mince
  • 700g jar Italian-style tomato cooking sauce
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup shredded fresh basil
  • 375g fresh lasagne sheets


  1. Heat oil in a large pot and sauté onion and capsicum until tender.
  2. Add mince and cook, stirring, until well browned.
  3. Mix cornflour to a paste with a little milk.
  4. Combine in a saucepan with remaining milk and heat, whisking occasionally, until mixture boils and thickens.
  5. Reserve 1/2 cup CHEERTM Cheese, stir the remainder into the white sauce until melted and salt to taste.
  6. Spread a little meat sauce onto the base of a lasagne dish and equally layer lasagne sheets, meat sauce, shredded basil and cheese sauce, continuing until all ingredients are used and finishing with cheese sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with reserved CHEERTM Cheese.
  8. Bake at 180C for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to stand for 15 minutes before serving with salad.

In a Sandwich Maker

    1. Preheat the Sandwich Maker.
    2. Butter two slices of your bread of choice and sandwich together.
    3. Lift the top slice with the filling off the bottom slice and place in the sandwich maker, buttered side down. Top with the remaining slice of bread, making sure the buttered side faces up.
    4. Close the sandwich maker and toast until crisp and golden. Enjoy!

Under the Grill (Open Toastie)

    1. Preheat the Grill.
    2. Grill your bread of choice on both sides until toasted.
    3. Place your filling of choice on top, finishing with cheese.
    4. Grill until cheese melts. Enjoy!

In a Frying Pan

    1. Butter two slices of your bread of choice and sandwich together.
    2. Place your filling of choice on TOP of the two slices.
    3. Heat a non-stick frying pan.
    4. Lift the top slice with the filling off the bottom slice and place in the pan, buttered side down. Top with the remaining slice of bread, making sure the buttered side faces up.
    5. Use a large flat spatula pressed down with a wooden spoon to flatten the toastie as it cooks until it is golden underneath. Flip over and repeat. Enjoy!

Beef Ravioli with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Prep Time : 10 mins  Cooking Time: 20 mins  Servings: 4



  • 625g packet LATINA™ beef ravioli
  • 250g bacon rashers, chopped
  • 375g mushrooms, sliced
  • 300ml tub Cream for Cooking


  1. Cook the ravioli in a pot of boiling, salted water, until tender, 5 – 6 minutes.
  2. Drain the pasta, reserving ¼ cup of the pasta water.
  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and sauté bacon for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the mushrooms and toss to combine.
  5. Season with cracked pepper and cook, stirring for 3 – 4 minutes or until mushrooms are nice and tender and the bacon is golden. Please note that as the mushrooms cook, they will release liquid. Cook, until all liquid has evaporated.
  6. Add the cream and bring the sauce to a gentle boil.
  7. Add the pasta and toss to coat, using the reserved pasta water to reach a desired consistency.
  8. Season to taste and serve sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped chives.

Greek Chicken Salad

Cooking Time: 20 mins  Servings: 1



  • 1 chicken breast, marinated in lemon juice and olive oil
  • 1 cup iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato, chopped
  • ½ cup Lebanese cucumber
  • 8-10 Kalamata olives
  • ¼ of a red onion diced
  • 10g feta, broken into chucks
  • 1 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Farmers Union Greek Style Yogurt (FUGY)


  1. Grill chicken on a medium heat grill pan, until cooked through, put aside.
  2. Add the lettuce to a large bowl. Top with the sliced chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, and feta cheese. Season with dried oregano plus salt and pepper. Add a generous serving of FUGY.
